I am Fatemeh Yarali, a BSc graduate in Architecture with independent studies in architecture, the city, and photography. I learned photography by roaming the streets and see it as a tool to express my perception of the surroundings and redefine the space I inhabit. My practice focuses on personal experience, memory, landscape, and the relationship between people and their environment. I choose subjects I know well, and through photography I reveal the hidden details that quietly connect our lives to the world around us. I began in photojournalism, and my first series—started in 2021—grew out of my search for a personal visual language and is still ongoing.
